Rudolf Golez’ Profile
Rudolf started piano lessons at age four. His mother taught him the basic Piano skills. As he progressed, he studied under Sister Lourdes Allegado, who prepared him for his first concert at age ten.
At age thirteen, Rudolf pursued serious music training at the Juilliard School, New York, under Seymour Lipkin. Further studies brought him to Graz, Austria then finally completing his Master in Music Performance degree at the University of the Philippines.
Rudolf is one of the youngest piano virtuosi in the country today. He was a prizewinner at the Chopin International Piano competition, Kuala Lumpur in 2004. And he also was named ‘Garbo sa Sugbu’ by the Provincial Government of Cebu.
Rudolf latest triumph was his debut at the Main Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippines with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra under the great Composer/Conductor Cristobal Halffter. He played de Falla’s most impressionistic work ‘Nights in the Gardens of Spain’.
